Cherie Mouse (also known as Toots) is a mouse who is Jerry's girlfriend in Tom and Jerry and The Tom and Jerry Show (2014). She meets up with Jerry for the first time in Springtime for Thomas. She is voiced by Kari Wahlgren in the 2014 show.

She is a cute light brown-colored mouse usually wearing a blue bow on her head, or a hat with a purple bow and is in love with Jerry.

She is seen as a sweet, caring, and loving Jerry as they both have romantic feelings towards each other. She is capable of fighting back against her foes similar to Jerry.

Cherie has made minor appearances rather than major one. Though she is Jerry's love interest.
She made her first appearance in the end of Springtime for Tom. She appears when Tom was chasing Jerry, who instantly falls in love with her.
She appeared again in Smitten Kitten, where Jerry once again falls in love with her again. She or other female mice appeared in Tom and Chérie (Though Cherie is not seen in the short, her name's) or Blue Cat Blues (where it's another girl mice named Toots as well)

The Tom and Jerry Show (2014)[]
Cherie (also named Toots) appeared one episode in The Tom and Jerry Show (2014), where her appearance in the series matches her from the original cartoons. In Dinner is Swerved, she is appeared as Jerry's date awhile Rick and Ginger are out on a date. However, their dates are conflicted with Tom and Toots who are also having a date. Toots and Cherie get into a cat and mouse rivalry similar to that of Tom and Jerry. However, the conflict stopped once they eat share a spaghetti together.
Although Cherie only appeared in one episode, another mouse named Gigi, who appears as the Paris equivalent to her as she resembles her. Gigi appeared in Molecular Break Up who is also a love interest of Jerry. For the series, Cherie was replaced by a new recurring love interest named Olive.

- Her appearance in The Tom and Jerry Show (2014) is a modified version of Jerry's. In that show she was first referred to as Toots.
- The character Gigi from the 2014 episode Molecular Break-up is nearly identical to Cherie, just speaking French and wearing clothes.
- In the newly-released game Tom and Jerry Chase, Toots has a different name called Cherie, to avoid confusion between Toots the cat and the mouse.
- Her chase with Toots in Dinner is Swerved is similar to Tom and Jerry's.
- Even though she is Jerry's most recurring love interest, she doesn't appear very frequently, and was replaced by Olive as Jerry’s main love interest in The Tom and Jerry Show for some reason.
- Cherie was in two Opel car commercials starring Tom and Jerry in the early 90's.
