Tom (Originally named Jasper) is one of the most popular cats in the series. He is seen in every episode, movie, and game. He is apparently the stupid cat who doesn't ever win, because he wants to catch Jerry to look like a hero, but he always fails. Drake Bell voiced him as a teen in the live-action/animated film.

He doesn't have psychical age. He is approximately 3-4 (cats age) in the beginning,and from 1943 to 1953 he is 15. He is about 10 from 1973 until 1980 and is 15 again from 1988 until most recently. In the episodes mix ``The Best Enemies`` he dies and goes to hell. When he wakes up he goes fishing. He dies 4 times in the series but he always comes back to life.
