Dorothy Gale is a fictional character created by L. Frank Baum, author and creator of the Oz Legacy. She appeared in the crossover film Tom and Jerry & The Wizard of Oz and its sequel Tom and Jerry: Back to Oz. In her roles in the Tom and Jerry universe, her speaking voice is provided by Grey DeLisle and her singing voice is provided by Nikki Yanofsky. In the sequel, her singing voice is provided by Amy Pemberton and DeLisle is credited as Grey Griffin.

Appearance

Just like in the 1939 film, Dorothy has brown hair in pigtails with blue bows, a white blouse with blue pinafore and black shoes, later the ruby slippers.

Trivia

  • In the sequel, Dorothy claimed that she'd be 15 eight months after the sequel takes place. This makes her 14 years old in both films. Since the original film was released in August and the sequel took place immediately afterwards, this would imply that her birthday is in April.
  • Dorothy is left-handed.
