Trivia[]
- This is Quacker's first and only appearance in the series.
- The episode plot is similar to the short "Is There a Doctor in the Mouse?" in which Jerry gains super speed and Tom tries various strategies to catch him.
- This episode is a homage to the Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner cartoons from Warner Bros.' Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies. In fact, legendary Termite Terrace director, Chuck Jones (who created the Road Runner cartoons) worked on Tom and Jerry at MGM in 1963-1967.
- The 4th wall is broken when Tom crashes into the camera at the end and drags the black screen downwards, ending the episode at the same time.
