"24 Karat Kat" is an episode of Tom and Jerry Tales.
Synopsis[]
Jerry gets lucky and fishes out buckets of gold from the river. Tom and Butch, however, scheme to steal Jerry's gold and sell it for cash.
Plot[]
In the 19th Century Sutter's Mill, Claim Jumpers Jerry found some gold but Tom and Butch scheme to steal gold from Jerry's Claim, but Jerry carrying a plate of gold but Tom put the bucket on him and Tom crushes the bucket while he is jumping and Butch carrying an digging equipment and Tom and Butch starts digging for gold until Sheriff Spike see Tom and Butch stealing gold so Sheriff Spike become angry so he grab Butch causing his eyes pop out and He use the shovel to hit Tom on it head and Sheriff Spike then warns them that if I catch you stealing gold from Jerry he'll put to jail, Tom and Butch nods his head. in the end they are stopped by their own bad efforts. This led to the two claim-jumping cats getting arrested by Sheriff Spike and taken to jail while little Jerry becomes a very wealthy mouse. In the end, Butch says this was a lousy idea and Tom beats him up while they are in jail.

- Butch's design from Tom and Jerry: A Nutcracker Tale is reused in this episode being the first and only time it is ever used.
